School Night Dinner: 3-2-1 Fish

This recipe is a family favorite for an easy week night meal.

3-2-1 Fish
Serves 4 people

3 tablespoons of yellow miso paste
2 tablespoons of rice wine (Mirin)
1 tablespoon of rice wine vinegar
4 fillets of black cod fish


Set the oven to broil.

Mix the miso paste, rice wine, and rice wine vinegar in a small bowl with a fork until smooth.

Place the fish skin-side down on a plate and spread the miso mixture onto the fish an hour ahead of time (but right before you cook is okay).

On a baking tray, place cod, skin-side down. Put tray in the top third of the oven. Broil for 10 minutes, or until the fish is starting to separate.

Suggested sides are steamed rice and roasted (or steamed) broccoli.
