Every year, Montclair Elementary School holds The Golden Sneaker Contest, a competition between classes to see how many kids walk, carpool, or bike to school.

The main goals of The Golden Sneaker Contest are to help kids get healthier and create a cleaner environment. The contest is stretched over ten days. It is a fun way to get exercise and make the Earth a better place.

This year was a very exciting contest, with Ms. Torres’ class coming in first place, and Ms. Chanter and Ms. Peare tied for second place! Congratulations and good luck next year!
